About The Position

This is an unpaid volunteer position for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact while gaining hands-on experience. The role is flexible and virtual, supporting ARO’s mission to help victims of abuse. Volunteers will collaborate with a global community of advocates and will have opportunities for leadership, cross-departmental mentoring, and professional development. Requirements

  • Completed or working towards a college degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, nonprofit management, social entrepreneurship, marketing, counseling, or other relevant majors but remains flexible).
  • Effective communicator, written as well as oral form.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, a love for organization and administration, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be exceedingly well organized, reliable, proactive, flexible, and dedicated to assisting in a support role.
  • Proficient in social media including LinkedIn, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok.
  • Reliable technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Be available to volunteer 10+ hours per week, including a minimum of 2 logged hours daily, for at least 6 months.
  • Complete assigned Google Classroom training modules.
  • Actively engage with company social media through daily sharing, liking, and commenting.
  • Work independently and collaboratively while maintaining productivity.
  • Meet remote project deadlines.
  • Support monthly fundraising initiatives when applicable.
  • Attend company and department meetings.
  • Consistently demonstrate professionalism and strong conduct.
  • Actively engage with the organization's social media platforms by liking, sharing, or commenting on posts to help spread awareness of our mission and initiatives.
