About The Position

SOCOTEC is hiring an ICC Special Inspector to provide detailed inspections of structures throughout Arizona. The position is based in Phoenix, with services provided in Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Yuma, and other locations across the state. The role involves field inspections, documentation and report writing, communication with engineers, contractors, and managers, and training apprentice inspectors. Requirements

• ICC certification for reinforced concrete.
• ACI Field Certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Safety-focused approach.
• Fluency in construction plan reading.
• Building code knowledge.
• Disciplined and self-motivated approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• ICC certifications in masonry, post-tension, and other areas.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• CWI Certification.
