This role is for a Special Hazards/Fire Alarm Superintendent in St. Louis, MO. The role involves monitoring and reporting on project progress, problem-solving, and ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. Additionally, the superintendent will manage employees, including attracting, hiring, conducting performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, developing, training, and terminating employees.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Construction or service experience in the Special Hazards/Fire Alarm industry
  • Clean driving record to operate company vehicles
  • Ability to travel locally throughout the St. Louis, MO region
  • Ability to pass an appropriate drug screen and physical
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to lead and direct others
  • Strong mechanical background
  • Good working and learning attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment

Responsibilities

  • Managing field technicians, equipment, and material procurement.
  • Supporting the Operations team with scheduling of inspections and small to mid-sized project installations.
  • Scheduling and conducting on-site safety audits to ensure the safety of employees and the worksite.
  • Performing inspections, testing, and installing small to mid-sized projects.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress and outcome of each inspection and project.
  • Problem-solving and making adjustments as needed to maintain the quality, safety, and profitability of each job.
  • Managing employees, including attracting, hiring, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Coaching, mentoring, developing, training, and terminating employees.
