The Special Hazards/Fire Alarm Superintendent is involved in managing the field technicians, equipment, and material procurement, supporting the Operations team with scheduling of inspections and small to mid-sized project installations. You are responsible for scheduling and conducting on-site safety audits to ensure the safety of employees and the worksite. You will be involved in performing inspections, testing, and installing small to mid-sized projects. You will monitor and report on the progress and outcome of each inspection and project, problem-solve, and make adjustments as needed to maintain the quality, safety, and profitability of each job. You will be responsible for managing employees, management responsibilities which include attracting, hiring, and conducting performance reviews of each employee. In addition, you will need to coach, mentor, develop, train, and terminate employees.
