About The Position

As a Special Events Coordinator at MGM National Harbor, you’ll help bring the excitement to life—from buzz‑worthy promotions to show‑stopping events. If juggling details, collaborating with creative teams, and seeing your work come alive energizes you, this is where the magic happens.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Has a High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Special Events or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of all events and promotional activities
  • Partner with internal teams (PBX, Engineering, Sign Shop, and more) to ensure flawless event execution
  • Create engaging event communications including guest letters, property‑wide memos, event fact sheets, and promotional collateral
  • Research, recommend, and manage relationships with vendors and entertainment partners
  • Develop official rules for events and promotions and coordinate approvals with Compliance, Legal, and Marketing teams
  • Recommend promotional gifts, manage gift schedules, and prepare gift presentations
  • Process vendor payments and event‑related expenses, including check and purchase requisitions
  • Attend events and promotions as the on‑site point of contact, ensuring all details are executed seamlessly
  • Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned
