About The Position

Santaquin City is accepting applications for a Seasonal Special Events Aide. This role involves assisting in the organization, coordination, and execution of various Santaquin Community Services programs and events. These events include, but are not limited to, Orchard Days Events, Summer Camps, and Hometown Market & Concerts in the Park. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school.
  • Must possess a valid Utah driver's license.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must successfully complete a criminal history check.
  • Must successfully complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) check if driving is an essential job duty.

Nice To Haves

  • Applicants enrolled in college in recreation management or equivalent.
  • Some experience in recreation programming and/or event planning.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in organizing community programs and events.
  • Coordinating community programs and events.
  • Working at various Santaquin Community Services programs and events, including Orchard Days Events, Summer Camps, and Hometown Market & Concerts in the Park.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
