The Full-Time Supervisor, Special Events (Install Leader) is responsible for the technical execution and operation of the Entertainment product based on the Technical Area’s strategic plan, operational processes, and financial target. Duties and responsibilities include: Manages research, development and execution of all Theatrical Services Special Events, including exterior and interior scenic/lighting/rigging installations/strike. Oversees the supervision of the Theatrical Services Installation/Deconstruction department teams. Collaborates with Entertainment Production/Operations, Theatrical Services and Theming teams to achieve project goals and objectives. Coordinates and oversees all outside Theatrical Services Special Events contractors. Supervises Theatrical Services Special Events facilities and in-house and rental equipment maintenance. Supervises Theatrical Services Special Event expense and labor that align with Park and Departmental objectives. With senior management, interpret labor budgets for scheduling and generating Installation/Deconstruction schedules, including the execution of Scheduler and KRONOS. Supervises, develops, and oversees Theatrical Services Special Events project timelines to ensure park and departmental goals, safety targets and objectives are obtained. Supervises the recruitment, hiring, development, performance and evaluation of the Entertainment Theatrical Services Special Event (Installation/Deconstruction) team. Coach and develop Installation/Deconstruction team and administer quality standards developmental discussions for their direct reports. Collaborates with department executive leadership in the creation, execution and supervision of technical processes to achieve park and department safety targets. Develops, implements, and supervises the Theatrical Services Special Event department training programs. Member of Park Leadership Team “Manager on Duty Program.”
