SETSS Special Education Teacher - Brooklyn
About The Position
Knowledge Road is seeking NYS-certified Special Education Teachers to work as SETSS providers on a 1099 basis in Brooklyn. The position offers flexible hours and competitive pay rates based on group size. We have a New York City DOE contract to provide IEP- and IESP-mandated services to students attending independent, parochial, and charter schools, as well as some homeschooled students in Brooklyn. These are not placements within NYC DOE public schools. The role involves planning and delivering one-to-one or small-group SETSS instruction, maintaining session notes, completing progress reports, communicating with stakeholders, and attending IESP meetings.
Requirements
- NYS certification in Students with Disabilities (B-2, 1-6, 7-12 or All Grades)
- Availability to work in Brooklyn
- Cannot have been employed by the NYC Department of Education within the past year (if so, special approval is required)

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver one-to-one or small-group SETSS instruction aligned to each student's IEP or IESP goals
