About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to support students with diverse learning needs for the 2026–2027 school year in Buckeye and Phoenix, AZ. This role involves providing small-group/resource instruction to students in grades 6–12 across core academic subjects. The teacher will manage assigned special education cases, including service delivery, progress monitoring, and required documentation. Collaboration with the Special Education team and general education staff is essential to support student needs and educational goals. Maintaining accurate records of services and student progress in accordance with applicable requirements is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Active Arizona Special Education Certification for grades 6–12
  • Active Arizona Content Area or Generalist Certification for the applicable to grades 6–12
  • Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience or demonstrated ability to teach middle/high school core subjects and provide small-group instruction
