About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking Special Education Teachers to support diverse K–12 learning environments in Maricopa, AZ , during the 2026–2027 school year. Adapt and deliver specialized instruction across K–12 settings, including elementary self-contained programs and high school resource/co-taught environments. Manage student caseloads by developing, implementing, and monitoring progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to diverse learning needs. Use data-driven assessments to monitor student progress and implement effective behavioral intervention strategies that support student success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
- Active CPR and First Aid Certification
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
