About The Position
Four Points Preparatory Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in Braselton serving students in grades K–6. The school builds instruction around students’ strengths and abilities and incorporates Moral Focus™ lessons into each school day. As a Special Education Teacher, you will provide specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. Services may include resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout instruction. You will also participate in professional development focused on special education curriculum and data-tracking tools. The school offers a best-in-class curriculum with instructional tools and resources, a safe learning environment supported by internal and external cameras, behavioral support for teachers and students through ABSS, a Dean support model, and support with alternative certification.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of students resulting from their disabilities, such as resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development specific to special education curriculum and data-tracking tools.
