About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Special Education Teacher for an immediate opening with a South Carolina school district. This is a school-based role focused on helping students overcome challenges and make meaningful progress. The teacher will develop individualized learning experiences that address students’ academic, behavioral, and developmental needs, while creating a structured environment that supports skill-building and progress toward educational goals.

The teacher will provide individualized and small-group instruction, develop engaging lessons, and adapt materials for diverse learners. The role also involves supporting positive behavior, assessing and documenting student progress, developing and monitoring IEP goals, coordinating IEP review meetings, maintaining compliant educational records, and collaborating with families, educators, administrators, and multidisciplinary support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Special Education teaching certificate.
• Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and related-service professionals.

Nice To Haves

• Previous school-based teaching experience in South Carolina is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply positive behavior supports to encourage participation and maintain a productive classroom environment.

• Maintain accurate educational records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary support teams to promote student growth and independence.
