About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Special Education Teacher for an immediate opening in a South Carolina school district. This school-based role focuses on developing individualized learning experiences that address students’ academic, behavioral, and developmental needs. The teacher will create a structured classroom environment where students can build skills and work toward their educational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and related-service professionals.
• Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Special Education teaching certificate.

Nice To Haves

• Previous school-based teaching experience in South Carolina is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students’ abilities, learning needs, and IEP objectives.
• Develop engaging lessons and adapt instructional materials for diverse learners.
• Apply positive behavior supports to encourage participation and maintain a productive classroom environment.
• Assess student performance, document progress, and share updates with families and school administrators.
• Develop measurable IEP goals, coordinate review meetings, monitor implementation, and maintain accurate educational records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary support teams to promote students’ growth and independence.
