Certified IL LBS1 Specialist Needed!
About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to recruit a full-time, school-based Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The teacher will serve a self-contained classroom of approximately 10 students, primarily with autism, in a structured learning environment. Students may have diverse academic, developmental, behavioral, communication, and daily living needs. The educator will use creative instructional approaches, consistent routines, and individualized support strategies to help each student make meaningful progress and build skills, confidence, and independence. The schedule is 8:30 AM–3:40 PM.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate Special Education endorsement.
- Ability to create individualized instructional approaches and maintain an organized, positive classroom.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with students with autism, significant support needs, or in a self-contained special education setting.
