About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to hire a Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom serving approximately 10 students, primarily with autism. This full-time, school-based position is for the 2026–2027 school year and follows a schedule of 8:30 AM–3:40 PM.

The educator will provide specialized instruction in a structured learning environment. Students may have varied academic, developmental, behavioral, communication, and daily living needs. The teacher will use creative instructional approaches, consistent routines, individualized support strategies, and individualized attention to help students work toward meaningful progress, confidence, and independence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate Special Education endorsement.
• Ability to create individualized instructional approaches and maintain an organized, positive classroom.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with students with autism, significant support needs, or in a self-contained special education setting.
