Special Education Teacher
About The Position
Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, for the 2026–2027 school year. The organization matches educators with placements based on experience, preferred age group, caseload interests, and geographic preferences. Placement responsibilities vary and may include providing specialized instruction, managing IEPs, monitoring student progress, collaborating with families and school teams, and supporting students’ academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth. The role includes dedicated service delivery support, mentorship, access to professional resources, and opportunities for professional growth. Background checks will be conducted on final candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education certification or eligibility for certification.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in school-based special education settings is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Use evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
