About The Position

Management of student IEPs and educational plan, IEP paperwork, Attend and/or facilitate meetings (IEP, Eval), systems in place for goal progress monitoring, classroom support for implementation of IEP, facilitation of paras to support student IEPs. Collaboration with other case managers, inclusion specialists, classroom teachers, and other staff to support student IEPs. Attend building and district meetings and conferences as required. Other related duties.

Requirements

Valid Washington state teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement.
Experience with writing and following the IEP.
Experience helping general education staff design and implement differentiated programming in core content areas.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to supervise placement of special education classified staff working to support the program.
Knowledge of Special Education rules (state and federal).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Positive attitude.
Proven ability for organization and meeting timelines.
Attendance and punctuality are key functions for this position.
