Requirements
- Master's degree
- Certification in Special Education
- Certification in Literacy
- Certification in Students with Disabilities
- Certification in Reading
- Experience working with students with disabilities and/or in special education settings
- Strong background in literacy development, reading instruction, and academic intervention
- Ability to implement effective learning and instructional strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of an educational team
- Patience, empathy, and a student-centered approach

Responsibilities
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction in reading, literacy, and academic skills
- Support students with IEPs, learning disabilities, and other special education needs
- Deliver targeted reading intervention and literacy instruction
- Reinforce classroom instruction and help students work toward individualized academic goals
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet each student's learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and other educational professionals
- Monitor and document student progress
- Contribute to educational planning and implementation of appropriate learning strategies
- Create a supportive, structured, and student-centered learning environment
