About The Position

This is a grant-funded position for Special Education District Program Instructional Assistants for the 2026 program. The role involves implementing a two-day summer program, participating in professional development, and supporting students from District Programs (DSC and Connections). Responsibilities include assisting with academic, social/emotional/behavioral, and daily living activities, as well as data collection and program evaluation.

• Experience as an Instructional Assistant

Responsibilities

• Implement a two-day program through summer (program operational hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 7:50 a.m. to 1:10p.m., July 6 through July 30, 2025)
• Participate in a professional development program on June 29 and 30, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Work with students from District Programs (DSC and Connections)
• Support all students, including all parts of their programming (academic, social/emotional/behavioral, activities of daily living)
• Data collection at the beginning and end of the summer program
• Assist with program evaluation upon completion of the program
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the ESY directors
