About The Position

Crystal Cabinet Works is seeking a Special Builder to join its custom cabinet manufacturing team in Princeton, Minnesota. The company has manufactured custom cabinetry since 1947 and sells through independent kitchen and bath dealers across the United States and Canada. The Special Builder builds standard and angled frameless cabinets. The role involves reviewing construction orders, retrieving and fabricating parts, assembling cabinets, installing hardware, and cleaning and inspecting finished cabinets. The employee may also fill in in other areas as needed. The schedule is first shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with Friday and Saturday overtime as needed. The listed salary range is $19.90–$23.00, Salary Grade C.

Requirements

Ability to make fundamental mathematical calculations.
Ability to read measurement devices such as a tape measure.
Working knowledge of various wood species and ability to differentiate between them.

Responsibilities

Review construction orders and prioritize work.
Retrieve parts for jobs.
Fabricate parts as needed, including cutting angles, drilling pocket holes, and doweling.
Build cabinets using glue, clamps, staples, and screws, including lazy Susans and wall cabinets.
Install hardware on cabinets.
Clean and inspect cabinets.
Maintain working knowledge of wood species and differentiate between them.
Perform fundamental mathematical calculations and read measurement devices such as tape measures.
Fill in other areas as needed.
