About The Position

This position implements the department’s Continuous Improvement program on one or more shifts. Areas of emphasis include delivering technical training to instrument technicians, performing and documenting quality assurance audits, supporting compliance with TJC and AAMI requirements, orienting newly hired instrument technicians, promoting certification activities throughout the department, and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Two years of sterile processing or related field experience.
• CRCST certification through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA), or CSPDT certification through the Central Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree.
• One year of sterile processing or related field supervisory experience.
• One year of experience in training and/or education.

Responsibilities
