About The Position

This position provides general sterile processing services within the hospital. Services include assembling, distributing, and storing supplies and equipment, as well as retrieving dirty equipment. The role requires working with varied decontamination and sterilization equipment and managing work assignments in a fast-paced environment. The pay range is $23.00–$34.25; offers are based on relevant experience and skills. Per diem positions use a standard rate based on market data.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician. Applicants with less than one year of experience must have completed a Central Service Technician Program/Course or Surgical Technician Program/Course.
• Must obtain IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification within one year of hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with varied decontamination and sterilization equipment.
• Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
