About The Position
Provides general sterile processing services within the hospital, including assembly, distribution, and storage of supplies and equipment, as well as retrieval of dirty equipment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician. With less than 1 year of experience, completion of a Central Service Technician Program/Course or Surgical Technician Program/Course is required.
- Must obtain IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification within one year of hire.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work with varied decontamination and sterilization equipment.
- Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, distribute, and store supplies and equipment.

- Manage, prioritize, and complete work assignments and other duties as assigned.
