About The Position
SurgCenter Clearwater is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician. The technician maintains and cares for surgical instruments and prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases. SurgCenter Clearwater provides surgical services in Orthopedic Surgery, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Spine, and Urology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1–2 years of sterile processing experience.
- Experience with all types of sterilizers.
- Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions when needed.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
