The spare parts clerk primary role is to minimize maintenance downtime by ensuring that critical spare parts are available, accurately inventoried, and organized. Track supplies to ensure maintenance team can efficiently maintain equipment uptime.

Requirements

  • High School Education or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred in Industrial, manufacturing, or automotive warehousing.
  • Ability to read prints, drawings, and schematics
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office/Excel, Outlook, and CMMS/Emaint)
  • Familiar with maintenance and technical terminology
  • Ability to lift and move items as required
  • Time Management & Organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Inventory management, organize and maintain spare parts room including, labelling, Min/Max, and 5S
  • Receiving incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against PO, Inspect for damage, and stock in proper location.
  • Shipping out parts that require repair by external vendor.
  • In some cases, deliver and pick up from local vendors.
  • Tracking inventory levels in eMaint.
  • A, B, C, part classification in eMaint.
  • Ordering replacement parts as need based on Min/Max levels and spot buys as needed in Ariba.
  • Auditing by performing regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Safety and Compliance by maintaining a clean, safe and organized storge area.
  • Coordinating with vendors for restocking.
  • Maintaining spare parts in both facilities 12A and 12B.
