About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a Spanish teacher for a client in Norwalk, CT. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one conversational course with a total of 30 hours, consisting of two-hour sessions twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays mid-afternoon). The student is a lower-intermediate level, aged 56-64, and motivated to learn Spanish. The location is a public place: Darien Library. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability, and the hourly rate is negotiable.

Requirements

• Native Spanish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of Norwalk, CT.
• Submit CV with references (if available).
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide customized language training to a professional/private student.
• Conduct one-to-one conversational Spanish lessons.
