About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Spanish Teacher for a client in Philadelphia, United States. This is a part-time, freelance position for a General Spanish course with a two-to-one format, totaling 24 hours. Each session will be two hours long. The location can be flexible, including Gather Food Hall in University City, the teacher's home/office, or the students' home in the 19003 Philadelphia area. The students are beginners, aged 25-34, and the schedule is once per week, either Monday or Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The course is set to start as soon as possible. The students are motivated to learn Spanish for an upcoming trip to Mexico and have prior unsuccessful course experiences. One student is also a language teacher.
Requirements
- Native Spanish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (Philadelphia, 19003).
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Availability for the specified schedule (Monday or Thursday, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM) or flexibility.
- Earliest possible start date.
