About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a Bengali Teacher for a client in Vancouver, Canada. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one teaching position with a total of 22 hours, scheduled in two-hour sessions once per week, available Monday to Friday during business hours. The student is a beginner, aged 35-44, who wants to learn basic conversational Bengali to communicate with their husband's family. The lessons will take place at the Vancouver Public Library on Robson St. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability, and the hourly rate is negotiable.

Requirements

• Native Bengali speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 30 km of Vancouver Public Library on Robson St, V6B 0E3, Vancouver.
• Ability to provide CV with references.
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.
• Meet stated conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customized language training in Bengali to a beginner student.
• Conduct one-to-one teaching sessions.
