About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Catalan Teacher for a one-to-one general language course in Boston, United States. The course will consist of 30 total hours, with sessions lasting two hours each. The student is at an elementary level, aged 18-24, and is motivated to continue learning Catalan after living in Barcelona. The schedule is flexible, with sessions typically held once per week on a weekday evening after 6 PM. The position starts ASAP.

Requirements

• Native Catalan speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of 02111, Boston.
• Ability to provide CV with references.
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.
• Meet stated conditions for application.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching students in the 18-24 age group.
• Familiarity with the Generalitat de Catalunya's introductory Catalan classes.

Responsibilities
