About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a Spanish Teacher for a client in San Diego, United States. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general course with a total of 100 hours, with each session being two hours long. The student is at an elementary level, aged 18-24, and motivated by family reasons. The preferred schedule is 3 times per week, Tuesday-Thursday, with Mondays also being an option, ideally between 10 am and 12 pm, but flexible. The location can be the teacher's office or a public place in the 92104 area of San Diego. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability. Applicants must have a valid work permit/visa and live within 20 miles of the specified location. We are not able to sponsor visas.
Requirements
- Native Spanish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (92104, San Diego).
- Ability to submit a CV with references (if available).
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Spanish language training to an elementary level student.
- Conduct two-hour sessions, three times per week, preferably Tuesday-Thursday, with Mondays as an option.
- Adapt schedule and location based on availability and client needs.
- Communicate availability and earliest possible start date to Language Trainers.
