About The Position

VitalCore Health Strategies has a PRN opening for a Spanish Interpreter/Translator in Massachusetts. The role is based primarily at the Bridgewater site, with possible work at other Massachusetts sites in Gardner, Lancaster, Shirley, Framingham, Concord, Norfolk, and Roslindale. The Interpreter/Translator converts oral speech and written text from one language to another in a variety of contexts, helping people communicate accurately while preserving meaning, intent, and nuance. The position requires appropriate handling of confidential information and culturally sensitive situations, as well as proficiency with company software.

Requirements

Fluency in and thorough understanding of the primary language or languages being translated.
Completion of a Medical Interpreter Training Course from a well-regarded institution.

A bachelor's degree.
Three years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Listen to or read source content, including jargon and acronyms.
Analyze spoken or written content and accurately translate its message, intent, and nuances.
Reproduce statements or questions in the desired output language.
Facilitate effective communication among individuals, companies, courts, schools, and other interested parties.
Provide simultaneous or consecutive interpretation as appropriate to the desired outcome.
Use equipment such as microphones or headsets to support precise and timely translations or interpretations.
Gather, develop, and maintain terminology and information for technical translations, including legal or medical materials.
Protect confidential information and follow applicable ethical or professional codes.
Understand and respond appropriately to culturally sensitive situations, perspectives, and phrases.
Use excellent listening skills and auditory recall to accurately reproduce spoken words in the desired language.
Demonstrate proficiency in company software required for the position.
Perform other duties as assigned.
