About The Position
Brightmont Academy is hiring a part-time Spanish Instructor to provide one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1–12. Instructors tailor lessons to students’ individual needs and learning styles and use a gradual-release approach to help students build confidence and achieve academic mastery. The role does not require lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading outside of instruction. Professional development opportunities are available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the subject area.
- Patience and empathy, with a commitment to supporting students who learn differently.
- Genuine passion for teaching and sharing the subject with students.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and learning management software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints in Arizona or Washington, where applicable, and pass a federal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching certification; not required.
- Advanced degree in a specific subject area of expertise.
- Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
