About The Position
Brightmont Academy is hiring a part-time Spanish Instructor to teach students in grades 1 through 12 through one-to-one instruction. Instructors tailor lessons to students’ individual needs and learning styles and use a gradual-release approach to build confidence and academic mastery. The role offers a flexible schedule and does not require lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading outside instruction. Brightmont Academy also offers professional development opportunities. The listed pay is $22–$25 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area.
- Patience and empathy, with a commitment to supporting students who learn differently.
- Genuine passion for teaching and sharing the subject with the next generation.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and learning management software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints in Arizona or Washington, if applicable, and pass a federal background check.

- Teaching certification.
- Advanced degree in the specific subject area of expertise.
- Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
