About The Position

The Spa at Midtown Chicago is looking to add a Spa Supervisor to support our world-class spa team. Our Spa Supervisors are professionals dedicated to creating a sense of well-being and an exceptional social experience for our members and guests. Requirements

  • Experience in a luxury spa, wellness, hospitality, or member-focused environment
  • Prior supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of spa services, treatments, and retail products
  • Polished, professional presence with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Spa or wellness licensure (massage therapy, cosmetology, esthetics, or nail technology) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted, visible presence in the spa, enhancing the overall member experience
  • Uphold the Midtown brand by delivering gracious, anticipatory service at every touchpoint
  • Build authentic relationships that strengthen member's connections to the Spa and the Club
  • Support initiatives that drive member engagement, acquisition, and long-term retention
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure daily operations reflect luxury, consistency, and care
  • Provide hands-on leadership while supporting daily spa operations and service delivery
  • Create a welcoming, refined environment that encourages members to linger, relax, and return
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, and associates to foster loyalty
  • Maintain visibility and accessibility to guests, staff, and vendors while fostering open communication across the spa team
  • Lead by example, modeling luxury service standards, professionalism, and warmth
  • Support onboarding, training reinforcement, and coaching of spa associates
  • Assist with creating thoughtful schedules that support service excellence and associate engagement
  • Promote spa services, programs, and events to increase member participation and retention
  • Ensure consistent compliance with sanitation, health, and state licensing standards
  • Monitor cleanliness, readiness, and presentation of all spa spaces
  • Coordinating and/or providing education for provider teams
  • Support retail and operational inventory levels, organization, product awareness, and perform monthly inventory counts
  • Stay current on spa and wellness trends to enhance the member experience and service offerings
  • Participation in club-wide events and activities and host monthly spa events and activations
