Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in luxury spa, wellness, hospitality, or resort operations
  • Previous leadership experience in a luxury spa, boutique resort, destination spa, or wellness environment strongly preferred
  • Passion for wellness, hospitality, and creating transformative guest experiences
  • Strong leadership presence with a people-first approach to coaching and team development
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, and revenue performance
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, guest-focused luxury environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs require

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Culture of Wellness & Hospitality: Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing spa team, including therapists, attendants, wellness providers, and guest-facing colleagues. Foster a culture grounded in kindness, professionalism, accountability, and genuine hospitality. Recruit, onboard, and train team members to deliver intuitive, personalized luxury service. Create an environment where employees feel supported, empowered, and connected to the resort’s purpose and values.
  • Elevate the Guest Journey: Oversee the complete spa and wellness experience, ensuring every guest interaction feels seamless, restorative, and personalized. Anticipate guest needs and create memorable moments that reflect our boutique luxury approach. Partner with resort departments to coordinate celebrations, wellness itineraries, special requests, and curated experiences. Address guest concerns thoughtfully and proactively, turning opportunities into lasting impressions. Ensure spa spaces consistently reflect exceptional standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and presentation.
  • Shape the Wellness Experience: Partner with resort leadership to curate meaningful wellness offerings, seasonal programming, signature rituals, and immersive guest experiences. Stay connected to evolving wellness and luxury hospitality trends while maintaining an authentic, grounded guest experience. Help define and strengthen a spa identity that feels both elevated and deeply restorative.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee daily spa operations, scheduling, labor management, inventory, and service flow. Manage departmental budgets, payroll, and financial performance while balancing guest experience and operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to grow spa revenue through treatment experiences, wellness programming, retail, and strategic partnerships. Monitor key performance indicators and implement thoughtful improvements to enhance both guest satisfaction and team success.
  • Maintain Exceptional Standards: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements. Maintain consistency in luxury service standards, operational procedures, and wellness protocols. Champion a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for guests and employees alike.
