About The Position

Hexcel is seeking an SP/Bond Operator at its Pottsville, Pennsylvania location. The role involves following written and verbal work instructions, recording production information and transactions in real time, verifying products against tolerances, and inspecting and setting up hand and power tools. Special Process Operators and Bonders train and work on specified production equipment and applications as needed to meet production goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must be an active Quality Delegate or be able to pass the requirement to become a Quality Delegate.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using small hand and power tools.
• Experience with handheld scanners and MRP or inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Legibly record data in the router in real time and record transactions using RF Smart guns in real time.
• Verify that products are within tolerances using measuring devices and inspection tools.
• Inspect and set up a variety of hand and power tools.
• Train and work on relevant production equipment and applications as needed to meet production goals.
