About The Position
The Souvenir Photographer Sales Supervisor oversees the daily operation of the venue, supports team members, and drives performance goals. The role leads by example, helps maintain scheduled operations, and reinforces policies and procedures. Supervisors also take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs, delivering excellent guest service and helping photo operations run smoothly. Photography experience is not required. The position involves operating a POS system and photography equipment, assisting with inventory, training, or recruiting as needed, troubleshooting technical issues, and escalating issues to IT or local management when necessary. The supervisor helps maintain a safe and clean work environment and performs other assigned tasks. The work is fast-paced and may involve outdoor conditions and peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfort with cash handling.
- Comfort working outdoors in natural weather conditions.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee team members' daily activities and assign tasks and assignments.
- Ensure daily operations are maintained as scheduled.
- Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by the Operations Manager or Regional Manager.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate them to IT or local management when needed.
- Assist with inventory, training, and recruiting as needed.
- Report policy or procedure violations to the Supervisor or Manager on duty.
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
- Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
- Participate as a team member to ensure photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
- Engage in a friendly manner with guests, staff, and coworkers.
- Operate a POS system and photography equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
