About The Position

The Sous Chef Lead is responsible for preparing food items using various cooking methods, observing and testing food being cooked, and following portion guides. This role also ensures proper care, maintenance, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and supplies, while maintaining a professional appearance. The Sous Chef Lead will instruct, train, and ensure subordinates follow standards, and work cooperatively with other team members.

Requirements

  • Two years experiences as a cook or sous chef required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to use calculator, adding machine, computer, telephone, and printer.
  • Ability to read and write English and to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • 2 years experiences as a cook or sous chef.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
