About The Position

The Sourcing Representative is the primary point of contact for inbound raw material and makes daily sourcing calls from multiple sourcing options. The role monitors pricing and competitive market conditions that affect sourcing, builds and manages relationships with internal stakeholders and raw-material vendors, and provides actionable data and reports to field teams and management using available systems and programs. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of customer service or sales experience.
• Strong relationship-building skills, tenacity, and a sales bias.
• Action-oriented and able to execute quickly.
• Customer-focused, attentive to the needs of internal and external customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create buy-in from generators.
• Ability to effectively present information.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Above-average computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
• Strong work ethic.
• Strong team orientation and ability to work collaboratively.
• Personal drive, self-motivation, and initiative to meet deadlines.

• An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and sources for raw materials.
• Use available systems and programs to provide actionable data and reports to the field and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
