About The Position

Join the largest privately held promotional products company in the US. This role works directly with assigned top-producing Sales Partners to support marketing, pre-sales, live sales, and program-related functions to drive supplementary sales volume. The position involves creating and maintaining solid business partner relationships with assigned Sales Partners and Corporate contacts.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and proficiency in verbal and written communication and computer usage equivalent to 4 years of college and specialized product and industry knowledge.
  • Three years of experience in a promotional products environment.
  • Experience in handling large accounts in a service or sales capacity.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient computer skills, including software applications.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Intermediate Word, ESP/SAGE, and Social Media.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Industry certification at the MAS (Master Advertising Specialist) level.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, or other website creative or production tools is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, or related tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct creative product research and selection from preferred production partners and external resources.
  • Build relationships with production partners to negotiate product pricing, production time, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Implement and support Geiger's corporate programs, pop-up stores, and custom programs, including coordinating website templates, merchandising, pricing, and virtual mockups.
  • Provide competitive pricing through research and negotiation, presenting quotes, and ordering PSA, spec, and random samples.
  • Stay updated on industry trends through shows, trade magazines, websites, and production partner meetings, possibly involving travel.
  • Utilize industry technology, such as ESP/SAGE, to create templates, build custom product categories, and enhance search efficiency.
  • Contribute to maintaining a strong brand presence for Sales Partners through marketing materials, promotions, campaigns, and social media.
  • Ensure compliance with product safety laws and industry guidelines for labeling and testing.
  • Develop a working knowledge or quick learning ability about various printing processes, decorating techniques, and custom and overseas production.
  • Potentially participate in sales and marketing activities for potential accounts, including product recommendations, RFP assistance, creative presentations, program website templates, and face-to-face sales calls in a fast-paced environment requiring creativity and urgency.
