About The Position
The CEMB - Sound Production Lab Assistant is a student employee position responsible for maintaining the sound production lab. This role involves setting up equipment, preparing the space for classes, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting faculty and students. The assistant will also be responsible for enforcing building policies and reporting any issues to the appropriate departments.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University.
- Must have passed AET 2560 Sound Reinforcement I.
Nice To Haves
- Any additional experience or knowledge is beneficial to the role.
- Higher level AET courses and knowledge beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities
- Setting up production equipment.
- Prepping space for class time.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Reporting issues to IT and Facilities.
- Assisting faculty and students with any needs in the lab.
- Enforcing building policies.
