About The Position

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Sorter to inspect and sort finished tile. The role involves checking tile for shade and visual defects, discarding defective tile, monitoring equipment or processes, and following standard operating procedures. The associate is expected to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and perform other related duties as required. The position involves regular standing, hand use, and reaching, as well as walking and other movements including stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may be required, and the associate may lift or move up to 50 pounds. The work environment includes moving mechanical parts, occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, potentially wide-ranging temperatures, and usually loud noise. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Previous manufacturing or production experience.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good record-keeping skills.
Good listening skills.
Accurate measurement capability.
Ability to understand and speak basic English.
Ability to perform the described physical activities, including standing, reaching, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and potentially lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
Required vision abilities include close and peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
