About The Position

The Sort Manager leads a team and provides operational leadership. The role requires the ability to inspire a shared vision, motivate employees, establish and accomplish goals using sound business judgment, respond professionally to customer requests and issues, and communicate instructions on processes and practices. The position also involves interpreting numerical data and written information and maintaining working knowledge of relevant technology-based projects, devices, and computer applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of previous management experience, operational leadership, military leadership, or project/team leadership experience required.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team.
• Demonstrated ability to build professional rapport, effectively lead a team, and positively influence diverse groups.
• Proven ability to apply sound business judgment to establish and accomplish goals.
• Customer service skills to respond effectively and professionally to requests and issues.
• Verbal and written communication skills to communicate with various audiences and provide employees instruction on process and practice.
• Ability to read, interpret, and draw conclusions from numerical data and written information.
• Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
• Ability to maintain working knowledge of relevant technology-based projects, devices, and computer-based applications.
