About The Position

Perform routine and complex ultrasound examinations to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Prepare and operate ultrasound equipment, maneuver transducers, and recognize anatomy, pathology, artifacts, and equipment limitations. Ensure image quality, accurate documentation, equipment functionality, and timely submission of studies to PACS. Maintain safety, quality control, regulatory compliance, and a clean, organized imaging environment.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to Sonography. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.
