About The Position

Skillfully conduct a variety of routine and complex Maternal Fetal Medicine, including High-Risk Pregnancy, ultrasound studies to examine tissue and body structures, providing quality images for interpretation. Assist providers with patient examination and treatment, ensuring a smooth and comforting experience for every patient. Expertly set up and adjust sonography equipment, manually maneuver transducers for exams, and accurately document findings. Uphold rigorous safety standards, perform quality control, and promptly report/resolve equipment issues. Ensure the prompt submission of high-quality images and all necessary documentation to PACS for seamless record-keeping and interpretation. Help maintain a clean and orderly department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
