Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to Sonography. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. All specialties accepted.
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up equipment and maneuver transducers to perform routine and complex studies, identifying significant anatomy, pathology, and artifacts.
  • Ensure the prompt submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS, verifying data accuracy and lead markers.
  • Implement safety standards and quality control procedures while ensuring all departmental activities strictly comply with regulatory agency requirements.
  • Monitor equipment functionality, execute lock/tag-out protocols for malfunctions, and maintain a clean, orderly clinical environment.
