About The Position

This role involves executing routine and complex ultrasound procedures by maneuvering transducers to capture high-quality images of tissues and body structures. The Sonography Tech will verify equipment functionality, recognize pathology and artifacts, and ensure prompt submission of accurate, high-quality images and patient data to PACS. Additionally, the role requires upholding strict safety protocols, quality control procedures, and regulatory compliance while maintaining a clean and orderly department. The technician will also troubleshoot potential malfunctions, report issues to appropriate personnel, and perform necessary equipment lock/tag-out procedures.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date OR Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.
