About The Position

Deliver high-quality diagnostic medical sonography by performing routine and complex ultrasound procedures to support accurate clinical interpretation and patient outcomes. Provide direct patient care by maneuvering transducers and adjusting equipment to capture precise images of tissue and body structures. Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure prompt submission of high-quality clinical documentation and images to the EMR and PACS. Maintain rigorous safety standards and quality improvement protocols to ensure equipment functionality and compliance within the diagnostic imaging department. Perform comprehensive patient assessments to recognize significant pathology and artifacts while ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient diagnostic services.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Vascular Sonography (ARRT-VS) also accepted.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program preferred.
  • Pediatric ultrasound experience
