About The Position

Purcell Municipal Hospital is seeking a motivated and skilled Part-Time Sonographer to provide daytime ultrasound coverage on Fridays and Saturdays. The Sonographer independently operates sonographic equipment, performs diagnostic examinations using sonography, and communicates examination results. The position also supports daily ultrasound department operations, including quality assurance activities and reporting equipment concerns.

The role offers a supportive team environment, a positive workplace culture, and the opportunity to work in a new hospital using a new Philips EPIQ Elite ultrasound system. Flexible scheduling is available to support work-life balance. Additional weekday evening shifts may be available for those seeking extra hours. There are no call or holiday coverage requirements.

Requirements

• Registered Sonographer (RDMS, RVT, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in general imaging and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of ultrasound experience is preferred.
