About The Position

NerdsToGo Plano has been acquired by ATI, an industry leader with over 35 years of experience providing enterprise IT solutions and cybersecurity to global businesses and government agencies. We are now merging that enterprise-level power with our local mission to dominate the Plano market. This is a high-visibility, sales-first role for individuals with a "Hunter" mentality and "Tech Knack" who are ready to build a high-income B2B career, moving beyond fixing screens to engineering technical roadmaps for small businesses. The Solutions Sales Engineer will be the face of the company, identifying critical pain points and designing productivity solutions for clients.

Requirements

  • Top performer in tech retail (Apple, Best Buy, Verizon) with a "Hunter" mentality and "Tech Knack".
  • Motivated by winning and hitting targets.
  • Ability to initiate conversations with local businesses.
  • Ability to translate complex Cybersecurity and Managed Services into a value proposition for a CEO's bottom line.
  • Deeply comfortable with Windows/Mac environments, networking basics, and cloud concepts (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace).
  • Ready to move from consumer retail into Business-to-Business consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Audit business networks and security to engineer custom IT proposals.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from initial discovery meetings to presenting solutions and closing contracts.
  • Actively hunt for new opportunities in the Plano area, driving new revenue.
  • Coordinate with lead technicians to ensure a flawless client transition to managed services after a deal is closed.
  • Act as a trusted consultant to clients, ensuring their technology scales with their business success.
